At the Accreditation Federation (AF), our organizational structure is designed to uphold the highest standards in global accreditation. Our governance is led by a Board of Directors comprising the President, Vice President, Executive Director, CTO, Secretary General, and other key directors who set the strategic direction for our organization. These leaders ensure that our federation not only meets industry standards but also innovates and drives improvements in conformity assessment and certification worldwide.

Supporting our top leadership is an Executive Board and a series of specialized committees that focus on every critical aspect of our operations—from technical evaluations and accreditation processes to quality assurance, ethical oversight, and dispute resolution. Our Technical, Accreditation, Decision, Evaluation, Complaints & Appeals, Ethics, Audit, Standards Development, Training, and Scheme Committees work collaboratively to maintain transparency, fairness, and excellence in all our procedures.

At the operational level, our Field & Technical Officers—including on-site auditors and assessors—are the backbone of our accreditation services. They conduct detailed evaluations, audits, and inspections, ensuring that accredited bodies consistently meet our rigorous standards. This dynamic interplay between strategic governance, specialized committees, and dedicated operational teams allows AF to deliver reliable, globally recognized accreditation services.

Our membership process is equally robust, offering various pathways for Member Organizations and Individual Members. We also facilitate Multilateral Recognition (MR) for those that meet our stringent criteria, ensuring that our accreditation is recognized across borders. By integrating comprehensive membership evaluation, continuous performance monitoring, and stringent standard-setting, we guarantee the integrity and quality of our federation.
